Alert Guide

User Guide

After installation, you can just select the “Local” button to start using Alert, but please experiment with the Settings. On iPhone and iPad tap the    button to get to Settings; on Apple TV go up to the Menu and click on “Settings”. Here are some examples to get you started.

Sharing Alarms

You can connect two devices by setting one to “Send ” and the other to “Receive”.  Apple TV is fixed to “Receive”. Please following these steps to make a connection:

  1. Make sure you have a good Internet connection then login to Apple Game Center on each device.
  2. Press “Start” on one of the Alert main screens to invite a friend.
  3. “Invite Friend(s)” lets you pick a friend and send them an invite, which will appear as a notification on your friend’s device. Your friend should accept this invite. You may prefer to initially use the simpler “Play Now” approach.
  4. Selecting “Play Now” on both devices will allow then to automatically connect to any device doing the same thing. This will usually connect to your friend on the default channel”0″. Other “Channels Numbers” can be selected in Alert’s Settings when selecting “Share” to limit who can connect to you. You both need to be using the same “Channel Number” to connect.
